In three steps
How the workflow works
- Choose an audio file and upload it securely
- Have loudness, peak, true peak, and format analyzed
- Read the report and decide on the next step
Which values you get and what they mean
- Integrated loudness in LUFS: a measure of average perceived loudness
- Sample peak and true peak in dBFS: the highest measured and technically estimated peak levels
- Duration and technically detected audio format
The analysis measures the uploaded file. It does not change or normalize the original.
LUFS, peak, and true peak explained
LUFS describes loudness closer to human perception than a single peak value. This helps you assess music, speech, and finished programmes before publishing or sharing them.
A high peak does not automatically mean high average loudness. That is why the check reports both perspectives separately.
