If you use only this package and submit the required evidence, no GEMA remuneration is due for the included tracks in Germany. For Austria and Switzerland, the same rights scope may additionally be described as AKM-free or SUISA-free. Other music or live performances may incur separate charges.

Plan two years ahead – secure the second license year at 25% off. Year 1 is charged at the regular price; year 2 is 25% cheaper with a binding booking and prepayment. The two license years are documented separately; this discount cannot be combined with the municipal group discount.

Does the Christmas market still need to be registered with GEMA, AKM, or SUISA?
Yes. Even if you use only GEMA-free music, you must register a public Christmas market with the responsible collecting society – in Germany with GEMA; for Austria and Switzerland, the same rights scope may additionally be described as AKM-free or SUISA-free. Registration does not automatically mean an additional charge: no GEMA remuneration is due for the tracks in this Audiocrowd package if you use only this repertoire and submit the required repertoire evidence. Other music, live performances, or program elements may be subject to separate collecting-society charges.
What does the license include?
The license covers the selected playlist and its guaranteed minimum playing time, as shown in the price calculator, for public playback at the booked Christmas market in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, during the stated event periods, and within the booked area. The annual track list depends on the selected package. Up to five booked markets or locations are documented in the order and license record. The package also includes the ZIP download, license PDF, and invoice. Social media, videos, custom track selections, and special rights outside the booked Christmas market are not part of the standard package. If you need a different scope, we will be happy to prepare an individual quote.
How long may I use the music?
You may use the music during the event period entered at checkout at the booked Christmas market in the DACH territory. The exact dates are stated in the license PDF. A different period, territory, or additional location requires an individual license; we will be happy to prepare an individual quote.
May I play the playlist several times a day?
Yes. The selected playlist and its stated minimum playing time are intended for repeated playback on each licensed event day. You may play it more than once, in full or in excerpts, within the booked market and area.
What applies to multiple areas, locations, or markets?
If you book multiple markets or locations, enter the area, event days, address, and period for each market in checkout. You can book up to five markets or locations together; each one is included in the price calculation and license record. More than five markets, several separately managed areas, or a different usage scope? We will be happy to prepare an individual quote.
How does the customer receive the music and proof of license?
After payment is confirmed, you will find the ZIP download with the ordered Christmas music, the license PDF, and the invoice in your customer account.
