About me

He has been a composer/song writer since 1979 and a record producer since 1997. Currently he produces songs for movie tracks and music for games, jingles for TV, radio, ringtones, publicity, commercials, and songs mainly for streaming. Throughout his life in music, he recorded with great artists such as Flávio Guimarães (Blues Etílicos - Rio); Armando Sousa (Musical Producer of Globo TV, Rio, Br); Felipe Sousa (Petrobras Sinfônica Orchestra, Rio, Br); Marcos Santos (Herbert Richers, Rio, Brazil); Rodrigo Alquati (Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra - OSPA); Fernando Noronha (SC, Br); Solon Fishbone (PoA, Br), Chaise Brothers (PoA, Br), Sniper Band (Rio, Br); Kemper's Band (Santo Ângelo, RS, Br), among many other talents. He was a partner of WNCS Records, a Brazilian label that produced several artists, among them Marcell Powell, son of the great acoustic guitar player Baden Powell. The hard rock's album Fields of Fire (2005), entirely composed and produced by Stteffen Kraus, earned a very good rating by Rockbrigade magazine with a higher degree than works released that same year by consecrated rock bands. In 2007, the song Higher, of his own, won a regional pop rock festival in RS. He is fluent in 5 foreign languages (ENG, SPA, FRE, GER and ITA) and he has musical works composed in these languages and in Portuguese, most of them in English. He has a partnership with 'Guts and Films' and 'e-Frame', agencies which produce advertising films, web series, TV series, and television films. They count on personnel qualified in advertising and publicity, direction and script of films by the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS), one of the best universities of Brazil. They have experience in award-winning short films at various festivals, production of series and programs for RBS TV, (representative of Globo's South Brazilian network), and the production of music videos awarded by MTV.
